SKOUT has a great opportunity for a Sales Engineer with leadership experience to manage a Sales Engineering team. This position reports to the VP, Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of pre and post-sales Engineers
Identify staffing needs based on industry and sales trends
Present technical product demos to potential partners and their end customers
Provide technical pre-sales support to sales teams and partners, throughout the sales cycle
Maintain detailed records in Salesforce to measure results and define product development needs
Work with Software Engineering team to co-develop roadmap prioritization based on industry knowledge and partner requests
Manage competitive intelligence content
Up-to-date knowledge of the industry, technical and competitive landscapes
Travel to tradeshows and partner conferences as subject matter expert
Conduct webinars for partners on industry and product specific topics

Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of industry experience in a sales focused technical role
An understanding of typical MSP services, business models, and market
Knowledge of security industry and technologies such as SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Email Protection, Log Monitoring, IDS, Elastic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business-related subjects to all audiences
Ability to work in a distributed team across multiple time zones and a globally distributed workforce
