Are you a Software Engineer systems engineer looking for your next step into a role that will have you taking on challenges most eVTOL companies won’t have even dreamed of facing yet?  
 
Then let me introduce you to SkyBridge; haven't heard of us before? Good. We have been operating in secrecy since 2017, in this time we have designed, manufactured and tested multiple prototypes, with the aim of finding the perfect eVTOL solution.  
 
Due to recent success, we are looking to expand the team and increase our operations to hit our next milestone. Right now, we are now looking for a Software Engineer with a background in model based software development as well as experience in the development of safety critical Aerospace systems. You will be focussed on the development of our state of the art GUI for our ground control station.
 
Within this role, you will be working on some of the most advanced and cutting edge technologies in the market right now, because of this, we need the best of the best to make it happen.

Responsibilities:

    • Experience of model-based software development tools such as Matlab / Siumlink 
    • Development of Safety critical Aerospace systems including control systems, navigation, avionics & ground control systems 
    • Familiarity of real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded systems and software in the loop (SIL) or hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation environments  
    • Knowledge / experience of industry standards and regulations for example, DO-178C for software development in Aerospace systems.  
    • Experience with modern SW development tools & version control systems  
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal 

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, (or related field). Masters degree preferred.  
    • Experience developing complex systems and strong problem solving skills  
    • Strong experience with one or more programming languages – such as, C/C++, Python, Qt 
    • Self starter, keen learner, ability to work independently with a proactive & flexible mindset
