This is a great opportunity for a marketing self-starter to be part of a rapidly growing construction company. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for all local marketing activities tied to pursuing and securing business while ensuring consistent alignment companywide. In this role, you will ensure that everything created and disseminated internally and externally attains the highest level of excellence and differentiation in the marketplace. We are looking for someone with a background in graphic design and communications who is excited to join one of the most dynamic and quickly growing industries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, where deliverables are often developed under tight timeframes. These deliverables include proposals, presentations, branded merchandise, public relations campaigns, and other marketing strategies. This role is an in-person role based in Bellevue, Washington, and will report to the Brand Manager. Some of Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Pursuits – Responsible for creating all qualification packages, proposal deliverables (RFPs), and presentation materials in the pursuit of winning new work. This includes designing graphics, writing content, assembling materials, meticulously checking details, and project managing each one to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
    • Event Management – Take ownership of the external events calendar for the Washington office. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to plan client-facing events.
    • Salesforce – Work with Operations and Sales to oversee the CRM’s data entry and data accuracy. This includes running reports, facilitating meetings, and managing the database of contacts, leads, opportunities and projects that move the business forward.
    • Client Acquisition and Retention – Work closely with the sales team to assist in client acquisition, retention and satisfaction strategies as needed.
    • Communications – Gather information and write messaging that is consistent with our brand voice to support several types of written pieces including employee biographies, website updates, proposal content, blog content, PR, social media posts, and more.
    • Branding – Ensure branding is consistent across all company areas including but not limited to logo wear, signage, templates, screensaver artwork, intranet, etc.
    • Manage Consultants – Management of creative and technical consultants to ensure all assets meet brand guidelines and expectations. This includes videography, photography, and more.
    • Website – Keep Skyline’s external facing website updated using WordPress, including new project case studies and team bios and headshots.

Qualification Requirements:

    • Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field preferred.
    • Minimum 3+ years of marketing work experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
    • Experience coordinating client-facing events.
    • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign required.
    • Experience working with Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier and Canva.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Understanding of proposal preparation and marketing activities, preferably A/E/C specific.
    • Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
    • Proficiency in WordPress and Squarespace.

$66,700 - $90,300 a year
The starting base pay for this position has a salary range of $66,700.00 to $90,300.00.* The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for health, disability, life, dental, vision along with retirement and profit sharing plans.
