Summary

We are looking for a Project Management professional with deep experience managing M&A Integrations. The ideal candidate has business acumen, experience managing M&A integrations in the SaaS industry, skills and passion for driving key strategic results in complex environments. The Sr. Project Manager, Integrations will report to the Sr. Director, Operational Excellence and is responsible for managing integration projects associated with mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives within the organization. This role will work with leaders and business partners across the organization, and ensures we achieve business objectives in the delivery of integration projects.

Note: The role preference is hybrid based out of our Portland, OR, Atlanta, GA or NYC center of excellence (COE), however, we will consider U.S -based remote candidates that are in the Eastern Time Zone.

How will you contribute?

    • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Create and maintain project plans, with milestones, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Coordinate and oversee the execution of integration projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
    • Maintain and improve artifacts to drive efficiency, repeatability, and scale.
    • Translate business requirements into project documentation.
    • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Assist with the launch of functional integration teams so they understand their charters and are organized for success.
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively, and coordinate with functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability for integration activities.
    • Anticipate, plan and manage interdependencies between functions so activities are prioritized and sequenced correctly.
    • Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate project objectives, status updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners.
    • Understand the priorities, operating needs and responsibilities of the different workstreams and stakeholders. Identify and escalate stakeholder concerns and ensure alignment with integration goals.
    • Risk Management:
    • Actively identify and manage integration risks and solve cross-functional integration issues.
    • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address issues and minimize disruptions.
    • Recommend ways to improve risk management through analysis and identification of trigger events.
    • Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to measure integration success.
    • Provide regular reports to track integration progress, project health and budget expenditures.
    • Gathers, maintains, and communicates lessons learned and feedback to team members, management, and the larger project management community.
    • Quality Assurance:
    • Establish quality standards to assess the effectiveness of integration initiatives.
    • Proactively ensure compliance (processes, standards, methodology) and conduct quality evaluations.
    • Refine integration tools, processes, and artifacts in accordance with quality standards.
    • Foster continuous improvement by soliciting feedback and implementing lessons learned in subsequent integration efforts.
    • Information Management & Documentation:
    • Design processes and apply technology solutions to execute projects more effectively.
    • Responsible for project related change management including communication, training and adoption of new processes and tools.
    • Develop information governance framework outlining where key data lives, how it is accessed and kept secure. Maintain and improve integration communication and collaboration portals.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration activities, including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports.

What will you bring?

    • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on M&A integrations or related initiatives.
    • Participated in 10+ M&A integrations. Cross-Border, SaaS and Private Equity experience preferred.
    • Skilled in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams, from initiation to closure.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams to act.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with different audiences.
    • Experience producing detailed project plans and resource requirements.
    • Competency in gathering and documenting business requirements.
    • Ability and flexibility to collaborate with global teams in multiple time zones.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Additional Eligibility Qualifications
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
    • Outstanding analytical and complex problem-solving capabilities.
    • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, with the ability to manage high volume of deliverables.
    • Excellent time management skills and experience executing in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with data base and scripting tools.
    • Understanding of risk management principles and practices.
    • Hands-on attitude with a strong sense of personal accountability.
$140,000 - $155,000 a year

The above salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process. 

The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. 

Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.
