The mission👇
As a member of our Core Backend team, based in Paris, your mission will be to build and optimize the core of Equativ’s business: our delivery and bidding engines. Your work will impact all other backend and infrastructure teams by providing innovative ways to perf-tune, deploy and scale our applications. Along with this strong production orientation, Core Backend is also responsible for the implementation of various transverse technical projects such as architecture transformations, integration with machine learning models, state of the art monitoring based on OpenTelemetry, or code quality improvements.
What you'll do ✏️
- Work in an agile, international and multi-expertise team
- Design & develop, clean coded, elegant and robust solutions: high performance, strong resilience and scalability are our standards.
- Implement monitoring and testingof your developments, review code of your team mates.
- Build, deploy, monitor and fine-tune your applications using Gitlab, Sonar, Argo, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc…
- Use the rest of your time to:
- Take part to architecture discussions to improve our stack
- Innovate and learn in autonomy during our Smart days
About you 💪
- 3+ years of software development experience on Microsoft stack (C#/.NET6)
- Appetite for complex technical challenges and clockwork engineering: having your application performing at 90% of its potential is not satisfying, you aim at the four nines
- Scientific methodology to solve problems: you like to benchmark, test, analyze and draw conclusions based on real data
- Interest in new technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Aerospike, Kafka) and scalable technical stacks
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Passion for writing high quality and maintainable code

- Previous experience in high-load platforms
- Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how to identify opportunities of improvement
- Personal projects with code sharing, we’re curious about your art!

- You’ll be just finishing your onboarding
- You’ll probably have tackled a dozen of small tasks
- You’re ready to start your first big ones with high impact
- You’ll be able to work on any part of our delivery engines in full autonomy
- You now have enough knowledge on the platform to be able to deploy and monitor your applications
- You’ll be totally autonomous on all our backend engines (delivery, bidding, geolocation, DMP, etc...) able to bring your impact at every level
