About the Role
We are seeking an Installations Coordinator to join our Operations Team in our Byron Bay Head Office. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on coordinating and scheduling over 60+ installations per week across solar, battery, and hot water systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day communication between our contractor network and our residential customers. You’ll work closely with our National Operations Manager to ensure timely, high-quality installations while maintaining strong working relationships with a large base of electrical and plumbing contractors across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirming future availability of install teams
- Rescheduling appointments for the week/day directly with customers
- Recruiting electricians and plumbers nationally
- Answering inbound telephone calls & texts with our customers, installers and nationwide sales teams
- Regular confirmations & rearrangement negotiations
- Resolving issues as they arise
- Reaching resolutions by defusing and reassuring sometimes frustrated customers and contractors
About you
- Minimum 1+ years relevant experience (scheduling, project management, BDM)
- Customer service experience
- Great communication skills - ability to talk to tradies and tell them what is what!
- Love working in a fast-paced environment where innovations happen instantly.
- Motivated and willing to learn.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Tech Savvy and commercially astute
- Currently residing in the Northern Rivers/Gold Coast region (able to commute to our Byron Bay office Monday-Friday)
- Australian Permanent Resident and/or full working rights are essential
Bonus Points
- Experience dealing with contractors or trades (Highly regarded)
- Experience negotiating trading terms or contracts
- Salesforce experience
- Experience using Google Sheets or Excel
