JOB TITLE: Blend/Batch Maker
JOB LOCATION: North Chicago, IL
JOB TYPE: Temp to Hire
PAY: $18-$20/HOUR
1ST SHIFT & 2nd Shift:
5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)
2:30 PM to 1:30 AM (Monday - Thursday)
About the Role:
● Operate a forklift
● Batch chemicals according to quality and safety procedures
● Label and fill drums
● Use a wide variety of pumps and hoses to fill tanks and tank trucks
● Correctly fill out manufacturing paperwork and checklists
● Keep work areas clean and neat in Blending areas
● Follow all safety policies
● Execution of activities as assigned
● Responsibilities involving food safety, when required
Qualification Requirements for Batch Maker:
● High School diploma or equivalent
● Read and write English
● Detailed oriented
● Feel comfortable working around chemicals
● Must be able to pass a background
Special Circumstances of the Blend/Batch Maker:
● Must be able to work overtime
● Must be able to wear safety equipment, i.e. respirators, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots
● May be required to work outdoors
● Must be able to lift minimal 50 lbs
