To take advantage of this opportunity and leverage the company's current positioning and core competencies, Caroo is expanding beyond food and drink delivery to become a software-enabled employee care platform that will manage and deliver all of a company's tangible care needs. Over the past few months, the company has already signed up more than 3,000 new enterprise clients with their various wellness box solutions. A product-zeitgeist fit exists, and Caroo is focused on becoming the market leader in this new world of work. 

Caroo curates healthier snacks, premium gifts, and team building experiences which it is delivering via its own software and technology platform. The shift comes after the dramatic shift to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because work is far less office-centric, it has launched such products as an Inspire Collection and Amplify Box, products which are designed to help work-from-anywhere employees feel inspired, cared for, and appreciated. Those offerings include curated healthy snacks and beverages, gifts, and team-building experiences all designed to connect employees, recognize them (celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, onboarding), and nourish them month-over-month.

The Role:
The Caroo Product Management team is building the workplace of the future through data-driven applications and world-class experiences for our customers. As a Sr. Technical Product Manager, you will own the critical functionality and admin features that are built on the Caroo Platform and the interactions between the Platform and other systems.

What You'll Do:

    • Understand the workings of our complex business and the problems that we seek to solve through technology
    • Define and deliver high priority initiatives supporting platform enhancements within a cross-functional team of Developers and Business stakeholders.
    • Identify technical debt that blocks Product Roadmap initiatives and lead the work to resolve it.
    • Define, lead, and execute holistic strategy to work towards strategic business goals, collaborating as needed across product areas and functions.
    • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate constantly and quickly. Identify opportunities and define product vision and strategy.
    • Engage closely with the rest of the Technology department to determine the best implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
    • Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with customers and business stakeholders while building and managing an actionable product roadmap.
    • Launch solutions that demonstrate product excellence and solve customer challenges.
    • Create, maintain, and review milestone deliverable documentation

Who You Are:

    • 4+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams to deliver software products
    • You have experience working on technical projects and can point to one or two major successes you’ve had in this space and the related results.
    • You have gained and held the trust of an engineering team through complex projects and helped them work through ambiguity with confidence. Technical discussions don’t phase you.
    • You are able to understand and empathize with users and stakeholders, and build solutions that meet their needs 
    • You are a hands-on systems thinker with a passion for making sophisticated processes simple and intuitive for business users.
    • You have strong opinions, weakly held, and you enjoy a good debate to get to the best possible solution.
    • You have excellent communication skills, feel comfortable delivering presentations to leadership and colleagues, and take care to create clear and thorough documentation.
    • You possess strong product management skills, including most importantly, an ability to differentiate between building what is asked for and what is truly needed.
