Reporting to the Director of Business Operations you will be responsible for defining and creating reports that help drive our business forward across the company. You will leverage both your analytical and creative skills to create charts, graphs, and visualizations to help our teams make better data-driven decisions. We’re not just looking for someone to create reports, we are also looking for someone with relentless curiosity in diving deep into our business and understanding why we are tracking the metrics we do and continuously making recommendations. You will be a change agent that uses data to drive business decisions across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Product.
Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years BI Experience across multiple reporting and modern analytical tools (Mode, Chartio, Tableau, Looker, etc.). As the SQL expert in the office you have advanced SQL skills applied on relational databases. You have advanced Excel or Google sheets experience and have the ability to take a large amount of data, slice it up with pivots and formulas, and make sense of all the data in an intuitive way. Basic understanding of data warehousing and data model concepts, enough to be able to work with our data engineers, is a baseline for any serious candidate. Strong understanding of metrics for functional teams (whether for sales, ops, or product)will be important as you work with cross-functional teams (this role will touch every piece of the organization).You are passionate about having ownership over everything you ship. You would never call SQL code or a dashboard “released” until you’re confident it’s correct, monitored, documented, and tested. Strong project management skills and the ability to drive projects through end-to-end.
