HR Business Partner
We are looking for our first People Partner to join the growing team here at Snapdocs. This high impact role is an opportunity for you to architect the foundation of our HR program while playing an instrumental part in helping build and shape our culture. As a subject matter expert, we will be asking you what we should be doing, rather than telling you what to do. If that sounds exciting, read on...
Snapdocs is an early-stage, rapidly growing company backed by investors like Sequoia, F-Prime Capital, SV Angel, and Y Combinator. We are tackling the massive mortgage market, developing modern software for an industry that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. We bring security, efficiency, and joy to a paper-based pillar of the US economy. As we expand our product offering and tackle a broader swath of customers, we need to grow our team with smart, hungry, and curious people. That’s where you come in…
As the primary contact for all people-related needs you will be a cultural champion, espousing and exemplifying Snapdocs’ operating principles and promoting a positive company culture. You will work with relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture and effectiveness as a company, these could include: performance management, talent development & feedback, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, manager training, employee engagement & retention, compensation/total rewards, and internal communications. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for developing and mentoring others, and is an expert in building strong relationships with leaders at all levels.
Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of overall work experience prioritizing, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business. You have lead change management initiatives within both early and growth stage environments. Ability to lead cross-functionally (this role will touch every piece of the organization), patience (communicating security to security novices), bias for action (we’re a startup), presentation skills, and attention to detail (of course!), will be the foundational attributes that will set you up for success in this role.
Snapdocs’ culture is one that strongly values diversity and drive. We want to work with people of different backgrounds and different paths in life, and we trust our team members to make smart decisions. This means we value independent work as well as collaboration. We provide a range of excellent benefits ranging from the standard stuff (matching 401(k), free lunches, 21 days PTO!) to the not so standard (10-year exercise window on your options (!!)) and our location in the heart of the Financial District in SF is super convenient.
