Snapdocs is an early-stage technology platform, backed by blue-chip venture capital firms like Founders Fund, SV Angels, Sequoia Capital, and YCombinator. We are tackling the $1.75 trillion U.S. mortgage market, developing modern software for an industry that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. We bring security, efficiency, and ultimately a better home buying experience to a paper-based pillar of the US economy. So far we have captured ~5% of all US mortgages (50k closings monthly) without a marketing department, proving excellent need and market fit. As a critical subject matter expert and leader of the demand generation strategy, you will work with the Director of Marketing to build a high-performing demand generation program. We will be looking to you for things like end-to-end campaign management, drip and nurture email tracks, an ABM program, inbound strategy, and an event strategy that delivers net new leads and converts existing opportunities. While working closely with the SDR team you will define the buyer's journey and sales/marketing funnel, focusing on areas for improvement, growth, and optimization. At the top of your to-do list will be working closely with the Director of Marketing to determine a new lead scoring system and hone the company’s definition of MQLs, SQLs, and SALs. You will also own and optimize the website, in collaboration with Product Marketing and Content Marketing, with new CTAs, copy, imagery, and content that drives conversions.
We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional with 3-5 years of demand generation or digital marketing experience at a B2B company. Our ideal candidate will be a self-driven, ambitious individual who lives for data and is a lead generation machine. As our first crucial hire, it is important that you have built, or directly contributed to the building of, a demand generation function in a previous role. While we do not expect you to know everything, we do expect you to have enough reps under your belt to be effective from day one. Success will require an ability to seamlessly transition from strategy to tactics -when others are planning from “thirty-thousand feet” you'll be thinking and asking the tough questions that get us to the “one foot” executable view. Excellent communication skills, emotional IQ, and strong stakeholder relationship and expectation management skills are the baseline for any serious candidate. Bonus points for those with ABM, team management, and/or P&L management experience.
