The Role:

SnapLogic is expanding its role as the world’s leading data and application integration with our Generative Integration platform. We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to deliver improvement to our platform, its security, access control, and overall platform admin management, helping to ensure our customers success. Additionally, you will create new ways to leverage our generative AI capabilities to augment the customer's skills and streamline the management of our platform.  This role is an individual contributor position, reporting to the Global Head of Design.

You will be a member of a product trio (design, product management, and engineering) and you will be responsible for championing customer needs, while balancing them with technical and business tradeoffs, ensuring they achieve amazing things with their data and application ecosystem. You must be able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, proactively thinking through the implications with development, QA and support. You will be expected to engage directly with our customers to help set a product vision.
You need to be a passionate storyteller; inspiring, aligning, and clarifying your designs with your team and the organization. You need a creative sensibility that combines UX design and systems design, and you must know how to build appealing and functional enterprise experiences. You will create user journeys, interaction workflows, and final designs, communicating with colleagues across the organization, facilitating working sessions, planning, and building prototypes.

You must be confident in taking risks building toward long-term business objectives, even in ambiguous situations.  Quickly identifying mistakes and making appropriate course corrections. 
This position is remote with occasional travel requirements.
To be considered for the role, you must share a portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional design sensibilities, a solid understanding of UX best practices for enterprise solutions and your ability to solve complex problems in graceful and intuitive ways.

What You'll Do:

    • Design the user experience/interaction for our Administrative capabilities (i.e. on-boarding, set-up, security, access control, etc. including content and navigation.
    • Work as a member of a product Trio to define requirements and develop innovations
    • Participate in Customer Co-Innovation workshops to develop breakthrough solutions
    • Use both customer data and UX best practices to drive design decisions
    • Develop prototypes, wireframes, and final design comps— whatever gets the job done
    • Quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs
    • Validate your designs through A/B testing and/or qualitative user research working with UX research
    • Develop realistic & high-quality recommendations for improving the user experience, proactively thinking through the implications
    • Conduct in-depth evaluations of multiple variables, included competitive products, exercising judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria.
    • Successfully balance tradeoffs between development, customer, and business needs.  
    • Able to plan for the future while remaining grounded in the present
    • Consistently applies systems thinking, demonstrating solid judgment for when to adhere and when to break established design patterns.
    • Proactively seek out a deeper understanding of both technology and competitors.
    • Leverage your knowledge to seek out improvements to drive greater efficiency and customer value.
    • Identify and propose strategies around problems that affect your team, communicating effectively, and gaining buy-in
    • Work with the other members of the design team to continually evolve and improve the product, as well as work to improve the knowledge and practices of the team overall

What We're Looking for:

    • 6+ years of experience designing web apps, ideally SaaS or other enterprise applications
    • Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, UX Design, or a related field
    • Must have experience design administrative functions for an enterprise platform (i.e. RBAC, MFA, security, etc.)
    • Must be highly proficient in Figma and the use of design systems
    • Deep intuitive understanding of enterprise UX, UI best practices, visual design skills a plus
    • Successful experience working closely with engineers and product management
    • Operate with high degree of autonomy, successfully delivering projects from concept to production on time
    • Demonstrates creativity in both identifying problems, oportunities, and their solutions
    • Inspire creativity in others.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a fully remote team environment.
    • Excellent grasp of visual and interaction design trends
    • Confident in taking risks building toward long-term business objectives
    • Demonstrate the ability to make decisions and move forward while balancing tradeoffs between development, customer, and business needs
    • Demonstrates strong situational awareness, connecting adjacent and analogous patterns
    • Quickly identifies mistakes and makes appropriate course corrections
$140,000 - $180,000 a year
The above range is the approximate annual U.S. base pay range for this position. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the range listed. In addition to base salaries, certain roles are also eligible for annual cash bonuses or commissions. All of our full time employees get stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
