The Senior Compensation Analyst will own the analytical, tactical and consultative compensation
processes to attract, retain, and motivate talent, and ensure all compensation decisions and initiatives
are aligned with Snowflake’s values and Compensation Philosophy. Conduct research and analysis on
internal and external compensation factors such as job levels, salary structures, pay equity, market
conditions, executive compensation packages, and variable pay. This position will report to the Director
of Compensation.

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities

    • Build a collaborative relationship with global HRBPs, business leaders and team members on compensation programs evolution and compensation initiatives
    • Analyze, review and develop materials related to the execution of all compensation programs including base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, retention and recognition
    • Create market driven salary structures to align with local pay practices in the Americas, EMEA and APAC
    • Respond to requests from Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, and business leaders related to compensation programs and tools, and produce ad-hoc reports to enable informed management decision-making
    • Assist in the preparation of Compensation Committee meeting materials
    • Create training material and conduct training sessions with HRBPs and business leaders to support our compensation philosophy through continuous education and communication
    • Manage participation in annual market salary surveys, and research and advise on market trends and insights to enhance our competitive market position
    • Perform job analysis, job levelling evaluations, job pricing, and FLSA compliance audits
    • Manage the annual merit and bi-annual bonus programs

Experience and Qualifications

    • 5+ years of progressive global compensation experience, including executive compensation, equity, and global statutory requirements (specifically: Americas, EMEA and APAC)
    • Four-year degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in Business Administration, HR Management or Finance. CCP & GRP designations preferred
    • Solid experiences in global salary structure design, and implementation of short and long-term compensation programs
    • Experience in evaluation and benchmarking of a variety of business and functional positions
    • Demonstrated ability balancing the long-term impact of decisions with an appropriate sense of urgency and customer delight
    • Prior experience conducting training and workshops on compensation core topics and programs
    • Excellent Excel skills and data modeling/analytics capability
    • Workday HCM implementation experience a plus
    • Experience with statutory requirements for the following countries a plus: UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, Australia, India, Japan, Singapore
