With the ability to manufacture broad-spectrum hemp extracts at scale, Socati is built to serve the needs of large, international CPG companies that are seeking high-quality raw materials.

Socati is looking to hire a Director of Cosmetics Ingredients Sales who will be selling into the largest cosmetic brands including:  L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Coty and Shiseido. We are looking for someone who has ingredients sales experience within the cosmetic supplier industry. This position is NOT about selling cosmetics or personal care products to end users. Instead, you will be selling the raw materials and ingredients that go into those products for manufacturers in the Cosmetics and Personal Care Industry throughout the United States.

Do you have the aptitude and strategic focus to build and sustain a territory of clients who buy ingredients for lotions, ointments, shampoos, and cosmetics? Are you able to understand how customers use chemicals, raw materials, and ingredients in their cosmetic and personal care formulations, and how your products can beat the competition?

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
Identify potential customers and set approach strategies
Become an expert in the CBD Cosmetic landscape and have the ability to speak confidently and knowledgeably about Socati's processing with customers
Target existing CBD brands, CBD retailers and cosmetics CPG’s
Represent Socati at industry trade shows & conferences
Act as the liaison between clients and our product development teams
Get feedback and suggest ways to increase customer engagement
Demonstrate strong business analysis, financial modeling and negotiation skills
Conduct professional presentations on Company product and service solutions to potential customers

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years required in business-to-business sales of chemicals, ingredients, additives or other raw materials preferably within Cosmetic & Personal Care industries
Minimum Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetics science, engineering or similar technical background
Shows strong grasp of chemistry, especially how Cosmetics and Personal Care customers use chemicals, ingredients, and additives, and how our products can offset competitive products
Proven work experience and a strong track record in Sales
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Proven ability to position products against competitors
Solid experience with CRM software
An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and team management skills
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
Ability to work independently and remotely in a home office
Must be able to travel 25% or more
Must have right to work in the USA, a driver’s license, clean driving record, and a car
