[solidcore] is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our HQ team. Our ideal team member is analytical, strategic, with a strong sense of integrity, and a proven track record in a similar role. This individual will be responsible for keeping the company’s activities within the guidelines, regulations and ethical expectations established by [solidcore]. This individual’s duties will include monitoring business operations and reporting infractions, reviewing company policies for possible risks and liabilities and researching legal requirements for new initiatives. They will work closely with our legal team and department leaders to ensure the business remains on track to achieve its ambitious mission and vision.

Located in vibrant Arlington, Virginia, and reporting to the Vice President of Legal, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.

Responsibilities

    • Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal guidelines, and ethical standards.
    • Develop risk management and mitigation strategies.
    • Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
    • Design ongoing training programs for employees of the business.
    • Evaluate the efficiency of these controls and improve them continuously
    • Conduct audits and investigations to ensure compliance and resolve any issues or incidents
    • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies and monitor enforcement
    • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a compliance manager or other similar role in a multi-state company with large employee population 
    • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
    • Strong business acumen partnered with a dedication to integrity 
    • Methodical and diligent with strong organizational capabilities
    • An analytical and strategic mind with a keen ability to problem solve
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Certified compliance professional is a plus
    • Passionate about the fitness industry

Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive salary range of $85,000-100,000 per year based on experience
