The FP&A Analyst should be located in vibrant Washington DC, reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A who serves as the lead for the company’s financial planning, reporting and analysis activities.

Responsibilities and skills you'll bring

    • Multi-Unit Financial Analysis – Experience analyzing financial performance across multiple studio/retail/service locations and identifying trends.
    • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management – Ability to forecast cash needs for a physical service business with fluctuating revenue.
    • Cost Control & Margin Analysis – Identifying and managing cost drivers, particularly in labor, occupancy, and supply chain expenses.
    • CapEx Planning & ROI Analysis – Assessing financials for new studio openings, renovations, and CAPEX investments.
    • Partnership with Operations – Working closely with studio managers and regional leaders to provide financial insights that drive performance.
    • Retail, Fitness, or Hospitality Industry Experience – Understanding of financial dynamics in service-oriented businesses with physical locations.
    • Scenario Planning & Sensitivity Analysis – Experience modeling different revenue and expense scenarios for seasonality and market fluctuations.
    • Unit Economics Proficiency – Ability to break down financial performance at the per-location level.
    • Experience with Growth & Expansion Financials – Supporting financial planning for new studio openings, site selection, and investment decisions.

It will be helpful if you possess the following

    • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related major or equivalent professional experience is required.
    • Experience in multi-location, franchise, or membership-based businesses is a plus.
    • Prior experience working in fitness, retail, hospitality, or other service-oriented industries.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, Snowflake and Tableau. 
    • A ‘can do’ spirit and positive attitude.
    • Certified public accountants (CPA) or certified financial analysts (CFA) are preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000
    • Bonus eligible up to 10% of salary
