[solidcore] is looking for a Product Innovation Manager. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent and Product Development, this candidate must be based in, or able to relocate to, the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area. The Product Innovation Manager will help to drive data-informed decision-making regarding the [solidcore] workout. This role is critical to understanding our clients’ needs, uncovering opportunities for product evolution, and fueling innovation in programming, coaching, and the client experience.

The Product Innovation Manager will lead research efforts to uncover actionable insights that inform [solidcore]’s programming, coaching experience, and client journey. This person will design and manage research projects, analyze trends, and partner cross-functionally to drive strategic decisions that optimize our workout product and coaching standards. 

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the fitness industry. To fully immerse in the [solidcore], this individual must either be a current [solidcore] coach or be trained to become one. A deep understanding of the workout and in-studio experience is essential to developing effective, real-world solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute an annual product insights roadmap aligned with business goals.
    • Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including client surveys, focus groups, in-studio observations, and sentiment analysis.
    • Analyze studio, client, and program data to identify trends, emerging needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
    • Manage a client focus group used to gain insights on new product drops, etc. 
    • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence programming, training, and overall the client experience.
    • Work in partnership with the internal team and cross-functional departments to integrate insights into product development and coach education.
    • Monitor fitness and wellness industry trends, competitor offerings, and broader consumer behavior shifts to help inform strategy.
    • Maintain a feedback loop with the field (coaches, studio teams) to incorporate internal perspectives into product decisions.
    • Present findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership, with a focus on storytelling and impact.
    • Become a [solidcore] product expert, developing deep knowledge of our workout

Required Skills and Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in consumer insights, product research, or strategy within the fitness, wellness, or lifestyle industries (or equivalent client-centered industries).
    • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
    • Skilled in survey tools and data analysis tools.
    • Experience with customer segmentation and journey mapping.
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
    • Passion for fitness, wellness, or high-touch client experiences; familiarity with boutique fitness concepts is a plus.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
