[solidcore] is looking for a Studio Manager who is committed to the growth and development of their team and is passionate about sharing the [solidcore] brand and workout. At its core, the Studio Manager is a people leader who is dedicated to cultivating strong relationships within the community, as well as role modeling all of the qualities and attributes of an exceptional coach – the Studio Manager is expected to undergo [solidcore]’s intensive coach training program and coach an average of fifteen classes per week. The Studio Manager is a multi-faceted role responsible for all aspects of studio performance and growth. They are accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and are driven by exceeding goals and continued growth. A Studio Manager is a representation of the [solidcore] culture, a strategic thinker, an entrepreneurial leader, and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment. 


    • Serve as the [solidcore] studio’s lead coach, maintaining a full schedule of 15+ classes per week. 
    • Work closely with senior leadership to manage day-to-day operations of a [solidcore] studio and implement company-wide strategies, policies, and procedures.
    • Motivate and manage a team of coaches, provide consistent, specific, and ongoing feedback, and create an inspiring and upbeat team environment.  
    • Ensure the delivery of a positive customer service and fitness experience consistent with [solidcore] standards. 
    • Run, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, including sales, utilization, retention, expenses, and payroll. 
    • Develop local initiatives and marketing strategies to drive unique traffic and exceed studio-specific goals. 
    • Respond to all client inquiries, issues, and concerns in a positive and timely manner. 
    • Foster relationships with the local health, fitness, and wellness communities as well as key influencers and potential corporate partners. 
    • Create and continuously monitor class and staff schedules. 
    • Work with vendors to ensure all facilities, maintenance, equipment, and supplies needs are met.
    • Participate in regular meetings of the company’s operations team and collaborate with other [solidcore] Studio Managers across the country to advance company objectives.
    • Support the company’s training and talent acquisition teams to scout, recruit, and develop new coaches as well as schedule and implement continuing education programs. 

Required Skills and Experience

    • Prior people management experience in high-end fitness, retail, or hospitality (1 year required, 2 years preferred).
    • Prior group fitness instruction, personal training, or professional athletic training experience (2 years preferred).
    • Ability to work independently with the confidence to make decisions and course correct as needed.
    • Strong business and financial acumen and experience analyzing and interpreting data.
    • Ability to multi-task and coordinate ongoing projects, plans, and people.
    • Proven track record in providing successful leadership to a team.
    • Positive entrepreneurial and resourceful problem-solving attitude. 
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Superior client relations and communication skills.
    • Passion for fitness, wellness, and the [solidcore] brand. 

    • Ability to model the [solidcore] brand and culture and serve as a lead representative of the [solidcore] community.

    • Proficiency in MS office, specifically excel.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including nights and weekends.
    • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
    • Ability to lift / carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
