We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Radar Systems Engineer to join our team of innovators. As a Radar Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in translating system needs into effective radar solutions while ensuring the successful integration of radar technology in our automotive, defense, and other commercial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate system needs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and specifications of radar systems for automotive applications. Utilize your expertise to transform these needs into efficient and practical radar solutions.
- Electromagnetic theory: Demonstrate a strong understanding of electromagnetic theory to design and optimize radar systems, ensuring maximum performance and efficiency.
- Radar signal processing: Adapt radar signal processing techniques to meet the specific requirements of automotive radar systems. Develop algorithms for advanced features such as collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control.
- Phased array and MIMO technologies: Utilize your proficiency in phased array and MIMO technologies to design and enhance radar systems, with a focus on FMCW system architectures.
- Radar design and signal processing: Leverage experience in radar design, signal processing, probability and statistics, and algorithm development to drive the success of our radar projects.
- Communication and Management: Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Efficiently manage the scope of projects and ensure clear and comprehensive requirements are met by both the team and all involved employees.
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or other technical field (advanced degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in radar system design, signal processing, and probability and statistics.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, Python.
Nice To Have
- Experience with radar verification and validation, including test design and results documentation.
- Experience with AI/ML design and implementation in sensor perception layer.
- Proficiency with AESA/PESA system architectures.
