The Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Account Executive to lead growth within the retail and e-commerce sectors. This is a consulting and services-focused role, not SaaS sales, and is ideal for a proven enterprise seller with experience delivering large-scale transformation projects. 

You will manage the full sales cycle—driving new client acquisition, building senior executive relationships, and shaping engagements that leverage Solvd’s AI, cloud, and engineering expertise. You will also have the opportunity to leverage key technology alliances (AWS, Microsoft, Databricks) to expand reach and accelerate opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive new client acquisition in the retail and e-commerce verticals, with full-cycle ownership from prospecting to close. 
    • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with stakeholders across IT, digital, product, and innovation functions. 
    • Position Solvd’s integrated services in AI/ML, cloud modernization, data engineering, and software development. 
    • Collaborate with internal solution, delivery, and industry teams to shape winning proposals. 
    • Activate and grow opportunities through Solvd’s strategic partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, and Databricks. 
    • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting to meet quarterly and annual targets. 

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in IT consulting, professional services, or large-scale digital transformation projects. 
    • Proven track record of landing new enterprise clients and growing relationships in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. 
    • Experience with retail and/or e-commerce clients, with a strong understanding of their technology and transformation priorities. 
    • Knowledge of modern enterprise technology—especially cloud, AI/ML, and software engineering—and the ability to position services around them. 
    • Experience working with or through technology partners (AWS, Microsoft, Databricks) is a plus. 
    • Strong executive presence, consultative selling skills, and ability to operate independently in a high-growth environment.
