We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Poland. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment with responsibilities spanning core accounting processes, revenue recognition, financial operations, and system enhancements. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Project Management, and Finance.

Key responsibilities:

    • Manage customer invoicing and vendor billing processes.
    • Lead month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
    • Monitor and analyze revenue forecasts and cost budgets.
    • Facilitate effective cross-functional communication with Finance, Sales, and Project Management teams.
    • Oversee deferred revenue recognition in line with US GAAP standards.
    • Support debt collection processes and vendor payment coordination.
    • Assist with annual audits, ensuring accurate and timely responses to external auditor inquiries.
    • Contribute to special projects such as ERP system enhancements and Revenue Operations process improvements.

Qualifications & skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree is highly valued.
    • ACCA certification preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in the technology or software services sector.
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition and contract structuring.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
    • High attention to detail and strategic thinking.
    • Proactive and responsible with a problem-solving mindset.
    • Fluent English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in an international, distributed team.
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • Experience with Kantata, NetSuite, or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
