The impact you will have  

The Channel Marketing Manager builds, plans, implements and oversees all marketing and demand generation strategies of Sonar’s strategic value added partners. The Channel ecosystem is a critical part of Sonar’s 2024 imperatives for success and we need someone with a strategic mindset, fearless in execution to build out the key markets and geographies with us. In this role, you will work closely with the regional channels team and strategic partners in co-creating impactful and executable joint Business Plans. You will report into the VP of WW Channels.

On a daily basis, you will

    • Generate and monitor KPIs for Sonar’s strategic channel partners based on lead generation and revenue goals
    • Align channels and organization goals; provide approval, guidance, and direction as an SME
    • Collaborate with Strategic Value Added Resellers globally and the Channels team to build and implement strategies, build a sound business plan with strong activities to achieve your pipeline targets, and increase Channel’s initiated opportunities closed won rates
    • Ensure channel-related activities are compliant and aligned with Sonar’s branding and communication policies
    • Organize a channel marketing calendar of events and track the viability of active campaigns and channel activities
    • Stay up to date with Sonar’s marketing team’s blueprint, internal product roadmaps, and current digital trends
    • From time to time, provide on-site planning and support wherever necessary in tier 1 and maybe tier 2 markets
    • Measure effectiveness and ROI of activities and campaigns, calibrate and optimize for future activities and events
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as sales teams and sales leadership to drive KPIs and positive outcome
    • Provide weekly updates and monthly reports on plans and channel activities
    • Challenge and improve processes as appropriate

The skills you will demonstrate

    • 10 years or more of channel marketing experience
    • Experience and proven record in building, executing, and maintaining, high-performance lead generation activities with Channel Partners
    • Experience in building out enterprise-level partnerships from a marketing perspective
    • Data-driven and has experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce partner portal
    • Urgency, is curious, assertive, and a great communicator
    • Experience working in both enterprise and mid-size organizations and ready to bring the best and most applicable ideas to us
    • Ability to execute thought-out plan end-to-end
    • Challenges status-quo, leading and contributing to improvements
