Work as a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full automotive software development cycle from conception to deployment.  Use cutting-edge technologies and products to provide industry-leading network, security, and data management systems for digital automobiles.  Employ and improve modern in-vehicle digital platform, scalable, distributed 
open-source technologies in collaboration with a team of engineers, product owners, and designers. Identify and solve challenging problems that provide valuable information to back-end analytics, business applications, and customer-facing services.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design and develop an automotive vehicle security platform to monitor and respond to vehicle 
    • cybersecurity threats. 
    • Design and develop Observability Platform for Automotive Cloud technology.
    • Lead a team with architecture of building large-scale data processing pipelines and creating best practices measures.
    • Architect, design, code, test, and document cloud-based microservice applications for IoT and big data analytics.
    • Design and implement large-scale data processing pipelines that handle a diverse set of data collected from millions of vehicles. 
    • Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and designers to identify and solve challenging problems. 
    • Provide post-production support.  Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software. 
    • Create and maintain Architecture, Design, Troubleshooting, Deployment, Configuration documents.

Qualifications and Experience

    • Must possess a master’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
    • One year of cloud-based application development experience, which may be gained concurrently.     
    • Use of Golang, Java or similar programming languages. Using Python or other scripting languages. 
    • Use of Cloud Native Platforms including Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices. Using SQL and NoSQL databases. 
$185,000 - $195,000 a year
