We are in an accelerated growth phase and looking for a highly motivated, accomplished, and driven Sr. Staff Software Engineer in Vehicle Applications to join our growing team in Krakow or Wroclaw. As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality and high-performance in-vehicle application software for software-defined vehicles.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Maintain and support software deployed on production vehicles.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration test cases to ensure code quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Follow established engineering processes in software development.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Solid C++ programming experience.
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrent programming.
- Experience with Python and shell scripting languages.
- Experience in Linux, Android, and/or other POSIX operating systems.
- Experience with networking technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, HTTP.
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
