We are in an accelerated growth phase and seeking highly motivated. accomplished and driven Cloud QA Automation Engineers to join our expanding team. As part of a collaborative cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, contributing from conception to deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with product, development, and other teams to define comprehensive testing strategies.
    • Develop detailed test plans and execute test cases through automation and manual testing.
    • Triage integration issues reported by partners and field problems during real vehicle testing, working closely with the development team to identify and implement solutions.
    • Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager/Exec team.
    • Track testing activities, including schedule, resources, requirements, defects, and resolution for clear alignment across key stakeholders.
    • Identify areas for improvement in test coverage methodology and provide valuable suggestions.
    • Provide Quality Assurance for the Cloud Platform developed on private and public Cloud Infrastructure.
    • Conduct both functional and automation testing.
    • Write integration tests for backend applications and tests for RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
    • Design and develop integration, regression, stress tests, and test suites focusing on automation.
    • Possess good Web/UI testing knowledge, utilizing tools similar to Playwright expertise.
    • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and build automation tools to validate scalability across Cloud Services.

Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in embedded software in the data center, networking, security, cloud services, or automotive industry.
    • Excellent knowledge of test methodologies and software development processes.
    • Proficiency with Linux command line, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals.
    • Experience with cybersecurity and reviewing/challenging product specifications.
    • Competent in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, Javascript, Go.
    • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, PyTest, Behave, Postman, etc.
    • Familiarity with relational databases, NoSQL databases, client-server architectures, and automation tools like JIRA and Jenkins.
    • Passion for testing and quality assurance with a strong understanding of the principles involved in software engineering and development.

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Experience with system-level testing on physical devices.
    • Familiarity with automotive design review and audit processes (ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, ASIL standards).
    • Expertise in testing to meet functional safety requirements based on ISO 26262.
    • Experience in Kubernetes-based deployments, Microservices, Message brokers, and Big-data pipelines (e.g., Kafka).
    • Familiarity with test tools: Spirent, IXIA, Vector CANoe or similar products.
    • Understanding of automotive networking infrastructure and transitions from LIN, CAN, CAN FD to Ethernet.
€75,000 - €101,000 a year
The above salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.
