We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Operations Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Create and enhance tools and processes to increase efficiencies and overall yield improvements in engineering productivity.
    • Participate in leading our software release engineering processes.
    • Assist in build and test pipeline development and maintenance.
    • Perform OSS and static-analysis scanning, produce customer-facing reports, with the goal of increasing automation.
    • Manage development tools and Linux-based development environment.
    • Includes configuration and updates of the various tools, e.g. compilers, libraries, OSS packages, 3rd party software.
    • Setup and manage build servers, lab PCs, VMs in coordination with IT.
    • Manage and improve our global data storage systems and backup strategy.
    • Develop tools for process automation in Python, PHP, bash.
    • Integrate code coverage measurement and help with automation.
    • Escalate engineering environment issues.
    • Assist with test execution, triaging, monitoring, and increasing automation thereof.
    • Document changes, new tools & processes, and create dashboards and reports.
    • Be able to think outside the box and from a customer's perspective on how to improve existing processes and come up with innovative solutions to challenges.
    • Ensure continuous compliance with ISO standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.
    • Create documentation and reports.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing best practices and guiding them in their professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering, or other related fields with 8+ years of working experience in EngOps/DevOps/IT, networking, security, cloud services or automotive industry.
    • Excellent foundational knowledge of Linux / Unix system environment and administration.
    • Experience with Ethernet networking (plus troubleshooting), file systems, storage, logging, monitoring, tracing and alert.
    • Strong coding skills in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
    • Proficient with Git / GitHub, and branching strategies.
    • Experience with network-attached storage and file systems.
    • Experience with Static Analysis tools such as Coverity, Code Sonar, or similar.
    • Experience with OSS vulnerability scanners, such as Black Duck, Snyk, or similar.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
    • Experience with Docker or other build containerization systems.
    • Familiarity with make / cmake / Bazel build systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving, technical, and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Hands-on experience with x86-based workstations & servers.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

    • Experience with ISO27001 and ISO9001.
    • Experience with automotive buses, such as CAN.
    • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools/frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack. OpenTelemetry).
    • Verbal / written communication skills in Korean.
