We are in an accelerated growth phase and looking for highly motivated experienced and strategic Senior UX Researcher to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help your team of Designers, Product Managers, and Software Developers understand user needs, providing insights that enhance usability by understanding automotive engineers' needs and workflows. This position is a 3-month contract and will be reviewed for extension at the end of that period.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to develop user personas and focus studies that align with product goals.
- Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative user research through user interviews, surveys, server logs, usability testing and online experiments (A/B testing).
- Collect and analyze research findings to generate strategic, actionable insights that inform product design and development.
- Advocate research findings and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences and stakeholders, through written reports and presentations.
- Work with Designers, Product Managers and Software Developers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong focus on enterprise products.
- Deep knowledge of user research methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Hands-on experience with leading UX research tools such as Maze, UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, and others.
- Experience in 0 to 1 product development, especially in enterprise products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
$75 - $85 an hour
The above salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.
