We are in an accelerated growth phase and seeking highly motivated. accomplished and driven Jr. QA Framework Architect to join our expanding team. As part of a collaborative cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, contributing from conception to deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with diverse teams on the development of test framework code, tools and infrastructure.
    • Investigate and fix bugs in the test framework and related tooling.
    • Triage integration issues, replicate problems, and assist in identifying root causes and solutions.
    • Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager/Executive team.
    • Improve the performance, stability and reliability of the test framework and related systems.
    • Identify areas for improvement in test coverage and methodology, providing valuable suggestions.
    • Work directly with the QA Test Framework Architect and other members of the QA team on the development of the next generation Sonatus test framework.

Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering or automated test development using Python
    • Full understanding of OOP and SOLID design principles and when these principles should and should not be followed.
    • Proficient in test methodologies with experience in system-level testing of physical devices.
    • Familiarity with Linux command line and proficiency in shell scripting.
    • Demonstrable ability to review and challenge product requirements, design, and functional specifications.
    • Ability to develop, review, and modify Python scripts to enhance test coverage.
    • Familiarity with common test frameworks such as PyTest, Behave, or similar.
    • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and similar tools.
    • Experience with Vector CANoe and Automotive test tools is a plus.
    • Experience in E2E testing of cloud controlled / monitored embedded products is a plus.
    • Experience with C++ and / or Rust is a plus
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
