Role Summary
This position will be leading/managing a DevOps team that is supporting an engineering organization with 200+ engineers. The team is key in delivering security product updates which protects 100,000+ customers around the world. Not only is the team responsible for maintaining the existing DevOps infrastructure, as a leader the candidate will also define the roadmap for the team, and creating plans to execute them. In the future, this position will grow to include additional responsibilities, providing room for advancement. 

What you will do

    • Maintain and enhance existing build framework which uses Git, Jenkins, GNU make & Bazel.
    • Linux/Unix Systems Administration.
    • Identify & integrate open-source or 3rd party build and developer tools with existing systems to enable engineering teams to work more efficiently.
    • Contribute to the design & development of resilient CI/CD pipelines for NSG products.
    • Respond to events and troubleshoot/resolve operational issues.

What you will bring

    • Essential skills
    • 10+ Strong Build & Release experience using Git, Jenkins, Makefiles, Bazel.
    • Experience in scripting using shell, Python, Ruby, or Go.
    • Strong experience designing, troubleshooting, or working on CI/CD pipelines.
    • Proficient in Release Engineering methods on Git using GitFlow or customized GitFlow, and related tools.
    • Gitflow best practices (branching strategies).
    • Experience working with tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible, SonarQube, Artifactory.
    • Strong in virtualization concepts ‚ Hands on in Docker, Kubernetes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Any past Development experience in C/C++
    • Expertise designing, implementing, and operating scalable cloud systems in AWS or VMWare.
    • Expertise designing and implementing monitoring strategies for complex systems.
    • Security domain/security testing knowledge a big plus.
    • Team Leader experience, judgement, and decision-making skills.
