Role Summary
As a Senior Paid Media Specialist at Sophos, you'll be responsible for devising, launching, and managing global paid media campaigns across multiple platforms. Your role involves leveraging analytics to derive insights, conducting A/B tests for optimization, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. This position requires a deep understanding of campaign management, conversion optimization, and reporting to drive impactful digital strategies for both Demand Capture and Awareness initiatives. 

What You Will Do

    • Strategic Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive global paid search, social, programmatic, and retargeting campaigns across platforms such as Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, and more.
    • Advanced Analytics and Insights: Generate sophisticated insights through in-depth analytics, presenting reports regularly to marketing leaders, and driving data-based decisions to optimize campaign performance.
    • A/B Testing and Optimization Leadership: Lead A/B testing strategies for ad messaging, creative, audiences and landing pages, utilizing your expertise to continually optimize campaigns.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration and Leadership: Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams internally (field marketing, web development, etc.) and externally (vendors/agencies), providing leadership in executing campaigns and ensuring alignment with objectives.
    • Conversion Optimization Expertise: Implement advanced techniques in keyword research, full funnel campaigns, ad copy creation. 
    • Tagging: Work with in-house teams and agencies to ensure all digital tracking is working, including experience with Google Tag Manager and other tools (Floodlight Tags, APIs etc.)
    • KPIs: Candidate will have experience in generating Pipeline and a positive ARR for Demand Capture activity by tracking offline conversions.  The successful candidate will also have a solid understanding on the role of awareness activity and how to measure this effectively.  

What You Will Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in managing global paid media campaigns across diverse digital platforms.
    • Experience in analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and a demonstrated ability to derive complex insights to drive strategic decisions.
    • Proven track record in leading A/B testing methodologies and optimizing campaigns for maximum performance.
    • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to manage relationships effectively.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple campaigns and initiatives concurrently.
    • Understanding of SEO/SEM best practices, advanced campaign optimization techniques, and hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and tagging processes.
    • A willingness to learn (on your own and with the support of the wider Marketing Ops team) and adapt to not only new tools but also optimization strategies.
