As a member of the Financial Control Global Process team you will assist with day-to-day operational tasks to help deliver the team objectives. The role will be focused on providing support to the wider Financial Controller group, assisting with general ledger journals & analysis, reporting and month-end close.
Reporting to the Global Process Manager, you will provide support and assist in the creation and development of various financial control processes including but not limited to GRNI, prepayments, sales rebates, cash reporting and cost analysis. You will also assist with intercompany accounting for certain legal entities and prepare month-end activities to tight deadlines, including balance sheet reconciliations for approval on OneStream.

Provide input and support into areas of Group accounting as required/ requested
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI)
- Maintain and monitor the GRNI general ledger account in SAP
- Communicate with the business partners and other members of the finance team regarding outstanding GRNI issues
- Present where necessary to regional financial controllers
- Assist with the standardization of GRNI processes across the business
- Prepayments
- Assist with the standardization of prepayment processes across the business
- Monitor the need for recurring PO’s and maintain the prepayment continuity
- Present where necessary to regional financial controllers
- Rebates
- Monitor and maintain the rebate attainment and invoice processes ensuring accurate and timely reports showing current company position
- Post monthly rebate accruals using ‘PowerBI’ data sets
- Inspect invoices/credit notes for conformity to specific requirements
- Track payments made to distributors and partners
- Analysis and investigate variances to budget
- Cost Analysis
- Collate and prepare the cost trackers for exceptional items, payroll related expense and prepare presentation to management
- Intercompany
- Assist in the intercompany process checking payments, raising invoices and credit notes and processing payables
- Preparing intercompany analysis and commentary for presentation to management
- Month End Processes
- Post general ledger journals where necessary
- Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts, prepayments, GRNI and others
- Provide analysis and commentary where appropriate
- Other
- Assist with annual audits
- Maintain up to date process documentation
- Assist in the development of best practices, formal policies and procedures and ongoing management
