Role Summary
Sophos, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to lead our global talent acquisition strategy and execution. This role is a critical leadership position, responsible for attracting world-class talent, shaping the employer brand, and driving excellence in hiring practices across a dynamic, high-growth organization.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with Sophos’s business goals, focusing on hiring top talent across diverse functions, geographies, and levels.
- Direct and oversee executive recruiting efforts to attract and hire senior leaders who align with Sophos’s culture and strategic priorities.
- Establish strong partnerships with external search firms as needed while driving best-in-class internal processes for identifying and engaging executive talent.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing global talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Enhance Sophos’s employer brand to attract top-tier talent by positioning the company as an employer of choice within the cybersecurity industry.
- Drive initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive hiring process, contributing to Sophos’s commitment to building an equitable workplace.
- Build and refine scalable recruitment processes, leveraging technology, data, and market insights to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Partner closely with business leaders, HRBPs, and other stakeholders to understand talent needs and provide strategic guidance on workforce planning and recruitment.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of talent acquisition efforts.
What You Will Bring
- 15+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global recruitment teams.
- Proven success in scaling talent acquisition functions in high-growth, technology-driven organizations.
- Strong track record of leading executive recruiting initiatives, including direct sourcing and managing external partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong communication and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing and implementing innovative, data-driven recruitment strategies.
- Ability to align talent acquisition goals with broader business objectives.
- Proficiency in leveraging ATS and other recruiting technologies to streamline processes.
- Strong commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $195,000 to $325,000. In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $200,000 to $334,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
