Position Overview:
Sora is seeking a proactive and organized IT professional to join as a School Technology Operations Specialist. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth school-wide technology operations, from securing platforms to supporting staff and families. You’ll work closely with technical teams, school leadership, and family support to keep our systems reliable, secure, and easy to use.

Location and Pay:
You must be located in Brazil to be considered for this role. This role will require 40 hours/week and you will need to be available to overlap hours with the team from 10am - 3pm U.S. EST. The compensation range will be 20k-30k USD/yearly DOE.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary IT contact for staff, troubleshooting issues, supporting incident response, and ensuring smooth operations during high-demand periods.
- IT Strategy & Security: Implement IT security practices by configuring systems, managing access, supporting secure onboarding/offboarding, and supporting compliance with privacy regulations.
- Google Workspace & Zoom Administration: Set up and maintain Google Workspace and Zoom environments, applying secure configurations, managing accounts, and supporting integrations with school systems.
- Technology Implementation & Documentation: Assist in evaluating and rolling out new tools, maintain IT documentation and policies, and support data retention, recovery, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in IT support (educational environment preferred).
- Proficiency with Google Admin Console, Zoom, and related tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across platforms.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Google for Education Administrator.
- Experience with 1:1 device programs or BYOD environments.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization.
