We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Waste Water Performance Support Technician to join our team based in Exeter, Devon.
You will join us on a 12 month fixed term contract and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,500 - £25,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
About the role:
As our Waste Water Performance Support Technician you will be providing support to the Waste Water Performance Team Leader.
What you will be doing:
- Assist with and provide support for the routine daily checks associated with the reporting of regulatory flow and data in accordance with EA Policy and providing support and advice for the associated regulatory returns.
- Record updating and tracking.
- Review & reporting of annual, mid-term and 5 yearly inspections to Performance Team leaders for quality issues. Track and following up on corrective actions of any observations made.
- Applying for 5 yearly certification post successful inspection by an accredited inspector.
- Uploading and maintaining associated documentation for regulatory flow and EDM.
- Tracking of site visits and to supply flow data to our engineers prior to site visits.
- Minute taking
What we are looking for:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent in Maths,English and science subject
- Previous experience of working on own initiative and/or working as part of a team
- Good analytical approach to data and data quality.
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic and motivated to achieve personal and functional objectives
- Attention to detail and methodical
- Takes ownership of data and information analysed and recorded.
- Ability to deliver timely and accurate results
- Good communicator and team worker.
- A flexible approach to workload and working hours
