We currently have an opportunity for a Training and Development Specialist to join our team based in Exeter, Bristol, Redhill.
Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £36,500 per annum plus excellent benefits.
As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training that equips our customer service teams with the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to deliver outstanding service and meet performance, regulatory, and business objectives. You’ll translate strategy into practical learning and ensure alignment with company values and compliance standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and deliver engaging training programs across onboarding, systems, customer experience service standards and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct training needs analysis. Identify opportunities to continuously improve through proven training methodologies and new technology.
- Develop training content using performance data across multiple platforms including digital learning modules, presentations, and assessments.
- Translate customer insights, complaints or audit results into learning opportunities
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance metrics and feedback loops.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying learning gaps and enhancing training design.
- Ensure training aligns with company values, regulatory requirements (eg Ofwat, GDPR and PSR) and performance expectations.
- Partner with Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement teams to embed process changes effectively and present training impact to wider stakeholder team.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in training delivery and learning design, ideally within customer service environments.
- Ability to create engaging, multi-format training content, including digital and in-person.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to shape and evaluate learning.
- Adaptable and collaborative, with experience using LMS platforms and working cross-functionally.
- Required: Degree in Training & Development, Business, or related field (e.g. CIPD in L&D, TAP).
- Desirable: Certification in training, instructional design, or e-learning tools.
