We currently have an opportunity for an Technical Administrator to join our team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time, 6 month FTC basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,152 - £24,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
 
About the role

This role works within the Adoptions Team.  The team are responsible for the delivery of all new development adoptable assets within the business. The post holder provides administrative support relating to project and programme delivery which will include reporting, budget management and scheme progress.

What you'll be doing:

    • Maintain key project documentation: accurately completing, recording, logging and storing key documentation to ensure that all engineering projects have a clear and concise audit trail in line with Company procedures.
    • Carry out a range of data collection and analysis to ensure that the project teams have all required information to progress the delivery programme.
    • Create projects within the Company’s Ellipse computer system, in line with corporate systems and procedures.
    • Track the progress of key documents within South West Water and chasing outstanding actions where applicable. This will involve liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure the timely completion of all asset registration forms and forwarding these forms, together with “as constructed” drawings, to the GIS team and client in line with established Company procedures.  
    • Raise financial orders and processing invoices.
    • Produce, run and update reports related to the programme as part of the monthly management and reporting cycle.
    • Organise meetings, car hire, timesheet input and other administrative duties as agreed.
    • Ensure that specific deadlines for project milestones and workloads etc are met, and outputs meet required standards.  Work with the rest of the team to ensure that programmes are delivered to time and budget.
    • Ensure that the project team is well informed of performance through regular and accurate reporting systems.        

What we are looking for:

    • Proven administrative experience in a busy office environment.
    • Experience of manipulating and analysing data effectively, using computer based spreadsheet packages.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
    • Able to manage high volume work loads with ability to organise logically and methodically
    • Able to work under pressure and still maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office.
£22,500 - £24,000 a year
