We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Water Loss Field Analyst to join our team based in Bournemouth. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum plus a range of excellent company benefits + rewards.

About the role:

As our Water Loss Field Analyst you will be an integral part of a high performing team delivering a 15% reduction in losses. You will assess current methods of operating and support in the development of improvements and efficiencies at operational level.

You will be responsible for undertaking day to day analysis of acoustic logging data from multiple workstreams and the subsequent creation of field packs ensuring the quality of information passed to Water Loss Team Managers is timely, accurate and consistent.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Monitoring active DMA leakage packages (flows, pressure, detected/reported leakage) daily in order to inform the Leakage Team Manager of potential opportunities to reduce water loss and increase performance and efficiency of field teams
    • Undertaking the day-to-day analysis of data from lift and shift and fixed network acoustic logging assets ensuring timely, consistent, and accurate information is communicated to leakage technicians
    • Ensuring leakage related datasets within the corporate leakage reporting system are maintained in an accurate, repeatable, and auditable manner
    • Updating the corporate GIS system with amendments generated by water loss resources
    • Undertaking standby duties in accordance with rota; ensuring actions are taken in accordance with Company Emergency Procedures
    • Ensure accurate records of leakage detection equipment, maintenance activity and materials are captured and communicated to the central leakage process team for update on the master leakage inventory

What we are looking for:

    • 5 GCSEs or equivalent inc Math and English
    • Full UK Drivers License
    • An ability to communicate findings, verbally or in writing; to raise awareness and understanding
    • Experience of interpreting data to inform decisions
    • Experience of using interpersonal and communication skills to influence positive outcomes
