As our Special Projects Supervisor, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of small to mid-sized construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, timelines and budgets. Every day we’ll rely on you to create accurate cost estimates, manage and coordinate subcontractors, monitor project budgets and develop and manage client relationships. To thrive in this role, you should leverage your knowledge and experience in interior renovations and maintenance services to meet client expectations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, with the goal of securing repeat business.

What you'll do

    • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of small to mid-sized construction projects from inception to completion.
    • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, establishing adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
    • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to interpret project requirements and specifications.
    • Provide financial oversight by developing accurate cost estimates and monitoring project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.
    • Leverage knowledge and experience in interior renovations and maintenance, including carpentry, drywall installation and repair, woodworking, flooring, concrete, and finishes, to enhance project outcomes
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Actively engage with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

What you bring to the team

    • Experience in managing small to mid-sized construction projects, with a focus on interior renovations and maintenance services.
    • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes related to carpentry, drywall, concrete, flooring, woodworking, and finishes.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
    • A valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle and safely transport building materials to job sites
Essential Functions
You must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, climb stairs, walk on uneven ground, have depth of perception to avoid excavations and other hazards, hear well enough to recognize the sounds of horns and sirens on moving equipment.  There is a constant lifting of 10 lbs., frequent lifting of 25 lbs.  There is standing up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift.
