Customer Success is the heartbeat of Spendesk's growth, ensuring businesses maximize value from our financial platform while building lasting relationships. As a Customer Success Intern, you will support the strategic initiatives that drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. Your mission is to enhance the customer journey through operational excellence, content creation, and proactive engagement while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role offers exposure to the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding optimization to adoption initiatives. You will work at the intersection of Customer Success, Operations, and Product teams, developing both analytical and creative skills. You will contribute to our commercial growth by supporting initiatives that increase customer engagement, reduce churn, and improve overall customer experience. You will report to the Customer Success Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Support, Operations, and Product to ensure seamless customer experiences and scalable success processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Customer Onboarding & Operations
- Assist with KYC (Know Your Customer) process management to accelerate customer onboarding and improve cash collection efficiency
- Support account ownership transitions and administrative tasks to ensure smooth customer experience
- Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve customer issues and improve response times
- Drive Customer Engagement & Adoption
- Create compelling customer-facing content including FAQs, user guides, and best practice documentation
- Support the design and delivery of webinars to boost product adoption and customer success
- Contribute to self-serve resource development that empowers customers to maximize platform value
- Enhance Operational Efficiency
- Support Customer Success team with operational setup and process improvements
- Help build scalable processes and workflows that benefit the entire customer base
- Contribute to initiatives focused on reducing churn and increasing customer satisfaction
What you'll learn
- Customer Success Fundamentals: Master lifecycle management, retention strategies, and success metrics while understanding fintech customer needs
- Operational Excellence: Develop process optimization skills, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making
- Content & Communication: Create customer-facing content, plan webinars, and build technical documentation that drives real impact
What we're looking for
- Currently studying Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Has strong communication skills and loves problem-solvingIs genuinely curious about fintech and customer success
- Can juggle multiple projects while staying organized and detail-oriented
- Enjoys working in teams and has a proactive, can-do attitude
- French native or fluent speaker
