Payment Operations Lead

As part of the Operations team, your mission will be to manage day-to-day payment operations by ensuring the continuity of our different flows, investigate and resolve incidents. Also, you will pro-actively anticipate gaps, build new processes and performs operating analysis to help develop the whole Financial Services entity.

Key responsibilities:

    • Manage a payment team of 3 analysts
    • Manage daily payment operations : SEPA payments checks and support, payment incidents, partners support and issue management, specific payment requests
    • Manage daily accounting and ledger operations : process closure requests, manage daily segregation and de-segregation
    • Pilot payment activity throughout dashboards with appropriate KPIs and provide management with appropriate level of analysis
    • Provide recurrent regulatory reporting to Compliance, authorities or partners and ensure of their quality
    • Update existing processes and define new ones in order to always ensure risk is mastered and efficiency is found at every level
    • Work with the product team to automate existing processes and collaborate on new products and features regarding payments at Spendesk Financial Services
    • Work closely with the Compliance team to monitor future regulatory changes and anticipate impacts on the team daily work

What we're looking for:

    • Fluent in written and spoken English - it is our business language
    • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Finance or Business School
    • 4-5 years of experience in Operations, a plus for experience in Fintechs
    • Very operational, problem solver and efficiency oriented mindset
    • A first experience in team management is appreciated
