As part of the Finance Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to hold a key position within the company by supervising and improving our billing process at Spendesk.
Working closely with both the finance team and the customer-facing team, you will support our customers on their billing questions, contribute to the implementation and follow up of the best-in-class billing procedures and train and support our customer facing team.

Key responsibilities:

    • Support our customers on their billing questions via email, phone, and chat (tools used: JIRA and Intercom)
    • Train and support our customer-facing team (Sales, Customer Success, Support) on billing best practices
    • Contribute to the implementation and best practice of internal billing procedures
    • Review billing of previous months to identify potentials errors
    • Monitor accounts to identify and resolve outstanding debts
    • Find and contact customers to inquire about their overdue payments
    • Build a team of junior billing specialists required at a later stage

Who we are looking for

    • 5 years of previous experience at a similar position as billing specialist, billing manager or “ADV specialist”
    • You are fluent in French and English (German is a plus)
    • You have great communication skills and good written & oral presentation
    • You have an analytical mind and the ability to to deal with numbers and to process financial information
    • You are very organized and have the capacity to prioritize tasks and get things done
    • You have great adaptability skills to work in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment
    • You are a self-starter, fast learner and impact driven
    • You have already built a team of billing specialists (or similar positions)
    • Tech / SaaS company experience is not a must but would be a plus
