About the role
The Yardman / Yardperson role plays an important part in our set up. This role, based out of our Moorooka Brisbane Hub, will ensure the business has vehicles that are made available to customers via various product lines and will ensure our fleet are, cleaned, serviced, and damage assessed before handing over the keys.
Other daily tasks will consist of:
- Ensuring all vehicles are serviced on time and have the necessary works completed
- Working with fleet team on warranty matters
- Coordinating vehicles for de-fleet (sale preparation)
- Receiving and preparing new vehicles
- Controlling cars that are onsite at the depot, ensuring depot carpark is neat and tidy
- Shuttle vehicles to and from dealerships and other specified locations
- Organise vehicle inspections with corporate partners.
What You’ll Bring:
- Stock control/Panel beating/Logistics or related industry experience (desirable)
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude or a reasonable understanding of motor vehicles (desirable)
- Full unrestricted Australian Motor Vehicle License (must have)
- A can-do attitude
- The ability to go above & beyond in your role to assist the team and for customer satisfaction.
- Attention to detail when inspecting vehicles.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- Comfortable commuting and working out of our Moorooka Hub
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Ability to work weekends as per roster
