About the Role
 
The Automotive Sales Assistant role is a key business contributor whose primary role is to drive business growth via a customer and solution focused approach. The role will be responsible for handling walk-in traffic and educating customers on Splends unique and industry leading products and managing a portfolio of existing customers. Please note this role will be based out of our Cricklewood hub! 

The role will be responsible for progressing potential customers through the sales pipeline from them walking in the building, to leaving with a subscription, finding them a product and solution that fits their unique situation while also managing a portfolio of existing customers and ensuring they are in a fit for purpose product and in-life upgrade opportunities. Other responsibilities of the role will look like this:  

    • Educating customers across our product suite and service offering and Splends points of difference. 
    • Educating customers on the benefits and potential earning and lifestyle that on-demand driving can offer and how we can support their journey. 
    • Complete in person sales appointments and test drives. 
    • Work closely with the operation and depot teams to ensure we are maximising all sales potentials and placing focus on specific products where required to meet stock demands and business goals.
    • Manage existing portfolio of customers to ensure customer success and identify opportunities for in-life upgrades and cross selling. 
    • Maintain an unwavering high level of customer service in line with Splends values and passion for our customers. 

What You’ll Bring:

    • Be a highly effective communicator with the ability to work in a team and build rapport with customers from a variety of cultural backgrounds. 
    • Basic negotiation skills. 
    • Excellent time management skills. 
    • The ability to focus on the desired result, by setting challenging goals, whilst meeting or exceeding them. 
    • Eager to learn, grow and develop in a high growth scale up environment.  
    • Great customer service skills with a customer outcome driven focus and approach. 
    • Strong administrative capabilities. 
    • A current and valid full UK drivers license
