About the Role
 
The Fleet Maintenance Lead role, based out of our Central London, Monument office will report into our Fleet Manager and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within the business and stakeholders. The role involves a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and organisational abilities as well as playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities by effectively managing maintenance activities and resources.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will look like this: 

    • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to schedule repairs and allocate resources effectively.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for communicating updates, status reports, and completion times to relevant stakeholders. 
    • Assess resource availability, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient execution of repair tasks. 
    • Optimise resource allocation to minimise downtime and meet repair deadlines. 
    • Conduct quality checks on completed repairs to ensure work meets established standards and specifications. 
    • Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend preventive measures or corrective actions. 
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and best practices during repair activities. 
    • Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among maintenance technicians. 
    • Identify opportunities to streamline repair processes, improve efficiency, and reduce downtime. 
    • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities. 

What You’ll Bring

    • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Knowledge of maintenance procedures, repair techniques, and safety protocols.
    • Proficiency in using maintenance management software or computerised maintenance management systems
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
