About the role:

The Car Valeter role plays an important part in our set up. This role, based out of our Cricklewood hub, will ensure the business has vehicles that are made available to customers via various product lines and will ensure our fleet are, cleaned, serviced, and damage assessed before handing over the keys.

Responsibilities:

    • Vehicle Cleaning and Valeting: Your primary function is to perform thorough cleaning and valeting of vehicles to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.  
    • Customer Vehicle Preparation: Ensuring vehicles are fully charged, equipped with all necessary cables and accessories, have safe tyre tread, and are free of dashboard warning lights.  
    • Telematics System Installation: Assist with fitting and calibrating Geotab systems for accurate tracking.  
    • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct inspections using our maintenance app.  
    • Vehicle Movement and Coordination: Manage vehicle movements within the hub to optimise space and efficiency.  
    • Inter-Site Vehicle Movement: Transport vehicles between sites as needed.  
    • MOT and Warranty Trips: Take vehicles for MOTs, warranty services, and maintenance.  
    • Customer Parking Support: Assist customers with parking needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.  
    • New Vehicle Deliveries: Support with the acceptance of new vehicle deliveries.  
    • TFL Inspection Support: Support the team and TFL inspectors during inspection days to ensure compliance.  
    • Team Support: Provide additional support to the team as needed, adapting to the demands of the day and ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.  

What You'll Bring:

    • Committed to maintaining top-tier vehicle presentation.  
    • Meticulous attention to vehicle readiness.  
    • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks independently.  
    • Strong organisational skills for handling multiple responsibilities.  
    • Comfortable and professional in customer interactions.  
    • Familiarity with telematics systems like Geotab (a plus).  
    • Clear and effective communication skills.  
    • Eager to learn and develop in a fast-growing environment.  
    • Ability to work well within a team.  
    • Adaptable in a dynamic work environment.  
    • A current and valid full UK driver’s licence. 
    • Comfortable commuting and working out of our Cricklewood Hub.
