As our BD Account Manager, you’ll focus on developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Splice’s marketing and business partners. We’re looking for someone to support the Business Development team to manage existing business initiatives designed to drive new users and subscribers, increase brand awareness, support diversification efforts, and generally support the strategic needs of the Splice platform across existing and future products.

Responsibilities:

    • Aggressively source and build relationships with Splice’s existing and target partners, which include(s) various music tech and legacy media companies, sample music labels, and music publications and blogs
    • Manage and run Splice’s affiliate program by building relationships, sourcing new partners, and optimizing program success
    • Execute and manage, end-to-end business / marketing partnership campaigns by managing the day-to-day coordination between internal stakeholders in Marketing, Creative, Business and External partners
    • Work with business and marketing teams to create strategic pipeline of partners in the music ecosystem and BD process to scale Splice’s partnership opportunities

Who you are:

    •  At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in the music industry
    • Partner account management and campaign execution experience with an established digital music service, established record label or media company
    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to create a repeatable and scaleable process around external campaigns
    • Go-getter who can pitch and close partnership deals and increase Splice’s visibility in market-place
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented and a self starter, with a keen curiosity and ability to juggle multiple cross-departmental projects
    • Passionate about creating inclusive, creative, and effective environments where people can do their best work
    • You have experience and an understanding of the greater music technology ecosystem

It's a plus if:

    • You’re a music producer or musician
    • You have experience in managing an affiliate program and familiarity with affiliate networks and software
