As the Artist Marketing Manager, you will design and implement powerful marketing campaigns and maintain positive industry relationships. You will work with the Artist team to help develop the promotional strategy around releasing artist content and support company-wide objectives.

Responsibilities:

    • Leverage artist, artist management and label relationships to develop and implement significant artist marketing campaigns that will appeal to both existing and new users
    • Advocate for Splice to industry partners to ensure they fully understand the value of the Splice platform
    • Communicate marketing best practices and strategies to artists
    • Liaise with Artist Partnership & Business Development teams to help drive and execute opportunities with third parties
    • Partner with marketing to conceive industry leading digital marketing initiatives & social media strategies, using your experience and expertise to formulate original and ground-breaking ideas
    • Continually monitor user data and apply it to achieve maximum impact in artist marketing activities
    • Leverage company user data to monitor the impact of marketing activities on core business KPIs
    • Work cross functionally with other internal teams to fulfill artist marketing goals
    • Maintain proactive interdepartmental communications to ensure all stakeholders in a project are kept informed
    • Direct artist marketing campaigns from initial pitch to completion and ensure maximum artist participation at every stage
    • Record and track the status of all campaigns and create detailed reports of all activities

Who you are:

    • 3-5 years in a creative-based role (editorial, record label, agency, management, etc.) working directly with music artists on deadline-driven projects
    • Experience working on campaigns that involve different types of content (e.g. audio, video, editorial)  
    • A proven “taste” record identifying, supporting and delivering results for innovative, zeitgeist-leading music projects
    • An established network of diverse and well-respected artist and music industry contacts -  - that you will maintain constant contact with in order to identify artist marketing opportunities
    • You are a communicative person that values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and motivated to fully complete all tasks that a project may require
    • Well organized, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines
    • Collaborative, with a “can do” attitude, providing solutions to any problems
    • A willingness to work odd hours and weekends - the music business is a 24/7 industry
    • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply data
