In this role you'll work alongside our Head of Talent and Talent Team on a blend of Tech & Product roles as well as associated dept tasking or a specialist area as your responsibilities develop.

What We’re Looking For 

This is an ideal role for someone with 1+ years tech recruiting experience either as an agency recruiter looking for their first in-house appointment or with solid experience working software engineering requirements. Technical recruiting experience in modern development frameworks will be necessary.  

Skills and experience in sourcing technical talent will be necessary from the get go. 

Our products are built in Java (Spring Boot), we use Javascript frameworks for our frontend and we have top ranking iOS and Android apps. All our infrastructure is open source, we store virtually in AWS using Docker and Kubernetes. 

What We Offer 

You’ll be working with our Head of Talent to get you up and running with internal processes and tool kits, as well as for day to day teamwork and check-ins. You’d become fully responsible for your recruitment life cycles including screening, interview prep and you'd work together managing the process through to hire. Support and guidance will be part of this process and you’d work closely together on candidate strategy.  

The aim of this position is to skill you up into a fully independent capable contributor at Sporty.

Direct applications and 3rd party delivery will generate your pipeline (if you have additional alternative sourcing methods or preferred platforms we would be happy to test and implement viable solutions). It would be helpful if you have regional or localised knowledge of our hiring stack in the global market and are able to offer insights. Market mapping skills and acumen will be highly valued.
