Spotify is looking for a team member to join the India Markets & Subscribers (M&S) team under the Early Career Program (ECP). The Early ECP is an immersive 24-month program that brings early career talent in India to Spotify to learn about the streaming business.
As a program participant, you will make a significant impact on the team and the business, contributing your insights and ideas to the exciting work that we do. This program includes learning & development opportunities, mentorship, and a number of team-building and social activities, so that you will have a well-rounded experience and be completely engaged in the culture of the company.
The Market Strategy & Operations (MSO) at Spotify India is a central connective unit primarily owning aspects around annual strategy formulation, research & insights, GTM strategy, business planning, budgeting and key operating rhythms/models, that together propel the India business forward. We’re looking for someone who can strengthen the day-to-day business operations, and program manage/co-lead pivotal initiatives from time to time.
The right person for this role is a highly self-motivated, driven, agile, collaborative and structured operator who is able to connect the dots in a very dynamic cross-functional environment and is learning through a similar challenge as part of their current role. In this position, you will work closely with MSO Head in India and co-ordinate cross-functionally across key leads.
This program is over the course of 24 months.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the MSO Head in driving the Annual Strategy & Planning process
- Drive efficiency of India market business operations through relevant cadences
- Maintain effectiveness of the existing operating models (Regionalisation/localization and squad models in place)
- Collaborate & program handle with cross functional teams beyond India to drive key business initiatives as & when required
- Work through critical insights/data & build business casing for future opportunities in the market
Who You Are
- Ideally a under graduate/post graduate with 18-24 months of experience in a central strategy/program management function in a high growth setup
- A self-starter with a hunger to learn and grow and also a problem solving attitude
- Attention to data & key details and analytics (basic SQL will help!)
- Basic presentation skills, business communication & team member management abilities
- Organized and has the ability to prioritise multiple projects seamlessly
- You can work efficiently in an unstructured environment and do well in fast paced, dynamic environments where critical thinking is important to achieve success
- Passionate about music, podcast, digital media and entertainment
Where You'll Be
- You will be based out of our Mumbai, India office
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in-person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
