Job Title: Data Engineer II
DUTIES: Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using modern data processing frameworks. Help implement optimization, testing, tooling, validation and anomaly detection to improve data quality. Apply best practices in continuous integration and delivery. Collaborate with other software engineers, data engineers, machine learning experts, data scientists and stakeholders. Prototype new approaches and productionize solutions at scale for our hundreds of millions of active users. Work in multi-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives. *Telecommuting permitted in any region within the U.S.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience (5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree) with: designing, developing, scaling and operating distributed systems with high-volume heterogeneous data; data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques; data engineering in Java/Scala/Python based frameworks; Python programming; Optimizing, testing, and troubleshooting data pipelines; cloud-native development and modern CI/CD practices; and software engineering including system design, data structures, and algorithms.
SALARY: $182,962 to $274,443/ year
